My ideal spring break would be something I want to call a Shopaholic Spring Break. It would go a little something like this....................!
I get off the plane in a little place I like to call New York. After just winning the lottery, I have absolutely no limit to how much I spend. Times square is where I would begin my journey(after checking in at my hotel for my two night stay) . I would check out all the high end little boutiques and splurge on pretty much anything I think is cute. Accessories are the most enjoyable to look at because of the mixing and matching and the SHOES (of course). If shopping or even just trying on shoes were an Olympic sport, I would medal, and it would probably be the gold medal. Shopping is my hobby, were ever I go I must check out a store or two, and this is exactly what I'm doing (except this trip is all about shopping).
After a long day of shopping I would go back to my hotel and try on everything I bought, hopefully making eight or nine different outfits. If anything was unsuccessful, I would just return it the next. I good nights rest will then benefit me for when I do everything all over again.
The next day I would spend shopping for a full ten hours. Buying and trying on anything I fell in love with. By the end of the day hopefully I wouldn't have spent too much (but that usually never ends up not happening). I would gather all the new items I had purchased over the last two days, (including a new suit case I was sending back home) because the next morning I would be off to CHINA for some major shopping.
My plan would be to travel to four different places: New York, China, Tokyo and the state of Montana.
The plane ride from New York to China, I'm sure is long so to pass the time, I think I would do research on this foreign country I was about to embark on. I would make a mental note of the highest rated stores in China to make sure they were on the top of my list to visit.
After checking in for my three day stay, I would immediately begin shopping. Starting with known other the China town. Not only experiencing the shopping, but also the culture would be fun while here. The different clothing with be an exciting purchase in my opinion because I would be able to show off the Chinese culture. I have herd so many stories of the amount and good quality that knock off items are in China. My best friend traveled to China about two years ago, and she mentioned that it was the best shopping she had ever experienced.
Even though most of the stuff in China is a knock offs, it still looks the same, with the only difference its about $200.000 cheaper. Doesn't matter to me if its real or not as long as it shows/says what it is. Next few days of that part of my ideal spring break, I'm sure would be fun and interesting, but hopefully Tokyo would be even better.
Flying from china to Tokyo defiantly isn't a long trip, so a quick power nap would help re energize me for the one day I plan to shop in Tokyo.
With Tokyo being so big and hard to cover in just one day, I told myself that I would only be able to shop in the actual city/heart of Tokyo. I heard Tokyo is suppose to be a fast and always moving city and in order to cover it completely I would have to do exactly that (move fast).
The final stop on my trip would be to Montana and then home. Even though Montana may not have that good of shopping, there's only one reason and one reason only to go and that would be because in the state of Montana the is NO TAX! It's awesome because what you may is the actual price listed. It like a dream come true. Now don't you wish the entire world would or could be like that (well at least Canada).
After spending, two days in New York, three in China, one in Tokyo and two in Montana, I would probably guess I would be quite tired and some what home sick, so I would head on home from Montana.
Once I arrive home, I would expect to see three giant suit cases sitting at my front door, because whatever I had purchased in New York, China and Tokyo, I would get shipped home so that I wouldn't have over the weight limit for flying to my next destination.
In order for this to one day ever take place, I would probably have to win the lottery (of about $50 million) especially to pay for the plane tickets etc. This would be a dream to come true, and if you ever want a dream to come true, all you have to do is keep on dreaming!
Oh my. LOTS of shopping for clothing...
ReplyDeleteAll I have to say is, I'd definitly would not spend 50 million dollars on clothing, that would be enough clothes to make up a whole city.
I'd use a quarter for charitys, then buy a new house and a sweet car.
It was good but you need to make some spelling and puncuation changes and indent but other then that it was good
ReplyDeleteCool, can I join you! Just kidding, sounds fun and you did a great job.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Grammar needs work :)
